Essential Functions:
- Works with teams to gather requirements, develop metrics, retrieve data, and ensure validity of results through cross-validation, data cleansing and quality checks for extracted data. Contributes to projects and data requests from beginning to end

Job Description Summary: Under the direction of the Enterprise Analytics Program Manager (EAPM), the Quality Assurance Analyst (QADA) will be important in bringing Data as a Service (Daas), data analytics and self-service reporting to Florida Cancer Specialists. The Informatics Quality Assurance transcends across the organization to help build our Informatics across and beyond the bounds of the FCS organization. The Quality Assurance Data Analyst works with the Informatics Product Owners, Architects, Engineers and Business Intelligence team members to provide quality data assurance in each of our incremental ETL, BI reports and project feasibility work products. The Informatics Quality Data Assurance Analyst must be extremely passionate to deliver healthcare insights to change the standard of care delivered to oncology patients via research and to provide dynamic reports back to the business.
The Quality Assurance Data Analyst defines and document plans for total testing solution of the entire data delivery process. A QADA ensures proper tools, techniques, and methodologies are applied throughout the test cycle with feedback loop to product, data and development teams. The QADA needs to have expert ability to define test scenarios and scripting methodologies for complete unit and system integration tests.
Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures
Position Qualifications/Requirements Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, management information systems or another related field. In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience is required or the equivalent combination for education and experience
Certifications / Licenses:
- Healthcare professional degree qualification preferred
Previous Experience:
- 5+ years of experience and knowledge of quality assurance best practices, software testing methodologies and frameworks, especially in a data warehouse and business intelligence environment
- 5+ years of experience in developing test strategies, creating test plans, test cases, test scripts and managing defects
- Experience in testing large scale database systems, preferably business intelligence systems and or data warehouse
- 2+ years in an active healthcare big-data integration experience with multiple heterogenous data sources with data cleansing and reference/master data management on an enterprise data warehouse to create a centralized ‘trusted data’ set for data analysis
- Proven work experience in software development/ business intelligence Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing and automated testing tools
- Product or lean management experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience with performance and/or security testing preferred

- Understanding of clinical data and data quality needs in ambulatory oncology setting.
